Funko ReActions RHPS Movie Figures | |
back to the Miscellaneous page back to the Cellar |
From Funko, comes another range of Rocky Horror Picture Show merchandise figures. As you can see from my photo above there should be six in all, but currently Riff Raff is proving elusive as far as UK suppliers go. The plastic figures are 33/4", 96mm tall and you can move the arms through 360 degrees and lift the legs to 90 degrees. Each figure comes in a little plastic bubble on a presentation card, the card itself is 9" x 6", 230mm x 155mm. The card features a shot of Oakley Court (original filming location for The Rocky Horror Picture Show), complete with a lighting flash, but minus Franks laboratory, or the flag pole. Three of the characters have optional accessories included. Janet comes complete with a handbag, Magenta with a Duster and Columbia with a removable Top Hat. Frank also have a cape, but it doesn't look removable without damaging it I would say contrary to the quote on the back which says "Relive the Rocky Horror Pciture Show with authentically detailed ReAction Figures!" these are not the most accurate versions of the characters we have seen in doll/model form. The rear of the card showing the six figures avaialble. We bought ours from Forbidden Planet online for £8.99 each. For a collectors items this seems reasonable (just don't consider the actual cost of producing such a small item of plastic and bit of cardboard). They did miss a trick by not giving each one made a unique serial number, or stating how limited the run of these would be. Figures Available: Dr. Frank-N-Furter Riff Raff Magenta Columbia Brad Majors Janet Weiss All individual pages are complete with 360 degree zoomable panoramas. We now have Frank N Furter, Magenta, Columbia, Brad Majors and Janet Weiss live on the site. Riff Raff has just joined the gang too! The figures are desgined to be Adult Collectibles and are Not A Toy according to the card. Age 17+. Having said that I would recommend you watch the movie "Space Balls" for the scene with Dark Helmet playing with his action figures and then try and not create your own senarios with these ones! |
