Message: Hoopla Pakefield Groupies! Well, Pontins didn't do a very good job of cancelling the Rocky weekend I must say! YAY! To those of you who couldn't go or were put off by Pontins (daggers to Pontins baby!) "cancellation", I SO wish you all could've been there! If it's any consellation, we partied in every Rocky fan's honour! We all got dressed up, had a few drinks and laughed at the funny looks we were getting, then got our very own slot in the middle of the caberet! We got up on that stage and ROCKED PAFEFIELD in the name of Richard O'Brien! I played Columbia (and some twisted mutant Janet cos they screwed up the music, pardon the crap pun) and had the most fun ever! The response we got from our "audience" was amazing! They all came up, shook us by the hand, congratulated us and asked if we did that sort of thing professionally! WOW! Thanks to everyone who turned up, cos we made it our own special night! 12 people crammed in one room to watch RHPS is something I wont forget in a hurry! Here's to the next event! New year maybe?! LOVE YOU GUYS! MWA MWA MWA! Love & Hugs, Nell xxxx

Message: Well, I've just sat through The Rocky Horror Picture Show on BBC2 with two friends who had NEVER seen the Stage show OR Film before.
(In fact the only reason they know about RHS is cause they seen me struttin my stuff!)
Anyway, I wasn't really in the mood to sit through the film again, in fact I hadn't watched the film right through for over a year.
But they both wanted to see why I go on about the show so we sat down with a few beers and cigs. As soon as the opening bars of Science Fiction started and I watched their reactions I could see why year after year this little musical goes from strength to strength.
They laughed at stuff I had long forgotton about in the film, they were totally engrossed in the plot, characters and those wonderful songs.
So much so, by the time the floorshow began, my heart had sank (Like it does during the Live show)as I thought to myself, "Awww no, He'll be dead soon it's nearly over..."
I love this show unconditionally, it has brought me much joy and friendship over the years. For those of us out there who love the show : Keep spreading the word.... For those of you out there who just don't get it : you don't know what your missing. ;)
Happy times and places Kev xxx
