Directing: The Shakespeare Revue (RSC, Vaudeville and international tour) and Masterpieces (Birmingham Rep), both of which he devised and directed with Malcolm McKee, his own adaptation of Noel Coward's Star Quality (Apollo), Home and Beauty (Lyric), Fascinating Aida's One Last Flutter (Comedy), Little Shop of Horrors (West Yorkshire Playhouse), Things We Do for Love (Harrogate), Candida (Oxford Stage Company), The Importance of Being Earnest, Tell Me on a Sunday, The Lady in the Van and Lord Arthur Savile's Crime (tours), The Likes of Us (Sydmonton Festival) and Arms and the Man (Salisbury). The Comedy of Errors at Shakespeare's Globe.

Acting: seasons at Bristol, Northampton, Colchester, Harrogate, Basingstoke, Leatherhead, Chester, Bath, Guildford, Cardiff and Windsor. Other credits include: Henry IV Parts 1 and 2, Twelfth Night, The Alchemist, Columbus and the Discovery of Japan, Artists and Admirers, Love's Labour's Lost, The Merchant of Venice, The Shakespeare Revue, The Merry Wives of Windsor and Much Ado About Nothing (Royal Shakespeare Company), Peter Pan (National Theatre), Kean (Old Vic), Art (Whitehall), The Traitor (Young Vic Studio), Half Time - his one-man show which he wrote with Hugh Bonneville (Donmar Warehouse), The Millionairess (tour), The Man Who Came to Dinner and A Small Family Business (Chichester), The Circle and Hay Fever (Oxford Stage Company).
