Rob was born in England and trained as an auto mechanic until at the age of 25 when he decided to go into theatre. He studied privately, and began singing with Ian Adam as an actor at the Key Theatre in England, where he performed in productions of Shakespeare's plays.

His change of career path was a success and led him via roles in the Buddy Holly Story and Bernstein's Candide to Germany for productions of Starlight Express and CATS.

2002 was followed by a part in The Who's Tommy in Austria, where he performed various roles at the Klagenfurt City Theatre, Theatre of Vienna, the Vienna Chamber Opera and the Musical Summer Amstetten. These included The Wild Party, Chuck in Footloose, Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar, Berger Hair, death in the Elizabeth and Jamie in the two-person musical The Last Five Years. He went on to play Jesus in the United Stages Bolzano, Vince Fontaine and TeenAngel in Grease at Theatre St. Gall.

After his engagement as a soloist with the Best of Musical Tour 2007 Rob was on German Theatre Munich and in Vienna Town hall for the male lead of Joe in the Latin Pop Opera Carmen Cubana.

Meanwhile, the talented Englishman was also appearing on TV. He was in the 2008 romantic ORF-Comedy Series Ex 2009. Rob also played the role of Corny Collins in Hairspray at Cologne as well as the Stuttgart and Berlin-based production of We Will Rock You as Galileo.

As a composer, lyricist and frontman of rock band Morton, he recorded together with his partner Zoltan Sebestyen, in 2006 with the first album "Pillowtalk" which was very successful including for the song "Irish Girl" a number one Chart success. Rob sang lyrics on the album by Tom Beck, "Superficial Animal" and is currently working together with Matt Smith, on his first musical - "The Boy Next Door." Rob played the role of the eccentric Frank'n'Furter on the tour of acclaimed new production of Richard O'Brien's Rocky Horror Show in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in 2008 and is very pleased to be part of this show once again.
