Dr.Scotts Extra Forks came down to Manchester to perform at a special charity screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show to help raise funds for a children's hospital. Richard O'Brien attended the event, which was one of several that took place that week, and stayed for the whole movie.

Richard signed hundreds of autographs (for a donation to the charity) and drew the raffle tickets for the event. The cinema sold out (600 people) of tickets and the crowd was very enthusiastic to say the least! Marty and the Forks presented a fine shadow cast show, I loved the glove puppets for the bedroom scenes in particular. Cathy, Stephanie and myself were also invited to perform, and we would like to thank the Forks' for their kind hospitality (it was well worth the ten hours driving).
