Sandra sends us news about how the event went.........

"Our auction alone raised £1371.50 before taking into account the ticket sales, so we were really pleased with financial results from the whole weekend.

The highlight of the auction was a Sanity for Today Rosette which sold for £300, three Dentonville towels which went for £90 each and we also had a pair of Richards shoes and a tin of 'shock treatment' Caviar which sold for £100 each (and went off to Israel)  We were also fortunate enough to sell everything on our 'collectables' table (autographs and signed photos) from the previous event at Hard Rock Cafe.

We do however have a few 'collectable' 4711 ID tags (2.5" x 1.5") including a lanyard which were made specifically for Denton 3. These were given only to guests, committee, technical staff and attendees.

The ID tag has 4711 in relief and a bar space below to put a name. We are asking £5 including p & p, all proceeds to Cancer Research UK. cancerresearchuk@btinternet.com to order."

Sandra sends us updated news on the next Denton Affair event

We are updating the convention details for The Denton Affair UK4711 on 1/2/3rd July 2011. by releasing the final 20 tickets this weekend.

They will go over the internet and Ebay but if anyone hasn't seen the advertising through Timewarp and would like to buy them before they go to back to the venue on 1st June it would save us a lot of fuss.

The cost is £95 for the three days entertainment, which includes two screenings with shadowcasts/costume competitions/auction and prizes (Friday and Sunday), a full day convention with guests/autographs/photographs/auction (Sunday) plus the guided coach trip (Saturday morning) and  the evenings musical entertainment with guests (saturday evening) - with the added option of a matinee ticket to Tims play on Saturday.

We have been lucky to attract a few dozen more new folk from overseas who are involved in shadowcasts/fan clubs so we are really looking forward to meeting everyone again.
