Best known for his role as DR CARLOS FASHOLA in the BBC's HOLBY CITY, David also won great acclaim for originating the role of SATAN in the National Theatre's production of JERRY SPRINGER THE OPERA. David went on to play the role in the West End transfer and won the prestigious Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal.

His film work includes the role of CADMOS in ALEXANDER opposite Colin Farrell, and he has recently finished filming BLESSED for the BBC written by Ben Elton.

His other musical work includes OH WHAT A NIGHT, HMS PINAFORE, SMOKEY JOE'S CAFÉ, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and PAINT YOUR WAGON.

David has also played FRANK'N'FURTER in the United States where he was directed by Meatloaf, who played the role of Eddie in the film version of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW.
