Russell Grant Russell is one of the UK's most famous astrologers. He attended the local performing arts academy in Middlesex, which is an affiliate of LAMDA. Most recently, he played Maisie in Probably Wanstead, and was asked to join Sir Alan Ayckbourn's company, for which he played two roles, Floss and Peter in Soap, to outstanding reviews. Other theatre credits include Tom Brown's School Days (Cambridge), Hans Christian Andersen (Palladium), the national tours of The King and I, Kismet, and The Wizard of Oz, The Royal Variety Show (Victoria Palace), Camille (Arts), lolanthe (Theatre Royal). In addition, this summer, Russell will direct and star as Madame Arcati in Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit and will also star in a two one act plays, The Chaise Plays. Film experience includes The Land that Time Forgot, Scrooge, Half a Sixpence, Moon Spinners, The Far Pavilions, Barry Lyndon. Television credits include Wednesday Plays, The Canterbury Tales, Guy Fawkes (all BBC), Arthur and the Britons (ITV), Penn St Gang, Doctor in the House, On the Buses, George and Mildred (all LWT), The Royal Variety Show (BBC), and cameo appearances on Brookside, Coronation Street and Neighbours. After The Rocky Horror Show, Russell will be travelling to Hollywood to meet his new IMG agent, Babette Perry, who has signed him up on reputation atone.
