Best known for his television work, Maxwell appeared most recently on our screens as Mark Wylde in Emmerdale, preceded by the role of Jim Brodie in Casualty.

Maxwell was featured in the Dynasty years as bad boy Miles Colby. Another 'M.C.' role was Michael Carrington in the perennial favourite Crease 2 among his many feature film credits, which also include: The Real Blonde, Empire Records, The Man Who Knew Too Little and Gettysburg.

Notable stage work includes: Billy Flynn in Chicago both in London and on Broadway where he also appeared in the Royal National Theatre's production of An Inspector Calls.
