Jana Stelley completed her musical education from Stella at the Academy in Hamburg. her first roles took her to the Theater of West Berlin, where in Les Miserables she was in the ensemble and then Eponine. She dubbed Meg Giry in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera movie, sang two songs for the movie "Heidi", was the voice artiste for Galadriel in the synchronized Online Game of "Lord of the Rings" and made WDR recordings for Oklahoma.In 2002 she won an Inscene Talent Award and in 2003, the VIVA Friedrich-Schütter-drama award. Jana also played Juliet in Romeo and Julia, and the role of Constanze Weber in Mozart! She also performed in concert on stage at the famous Vienna Raimund Theatre. In addition she appeared as Frenchy in Grease at Municipal Theatre of St. Gallen and in alternating cast as Glinda in Wicked at the Palladium theater, Stuttgart. In early 2009 she played Wendla, Ilse, Martha, (and also as dance captain) in the German première of Spring Awakening at the Wiener Ronacher Theater. She also played the Mistress in Evita at Tecklenburg. Jana also excelled in the premiere of the original production of Hairspray in Germany. |
