And now for something special from Rocky Horror Company for the fans......
THE INTERNATIONAL SMASH HIT MUSICAL IN LONDON!
The show was at the Playhouse Theatre, London for an exclusive limited from Friday 11th to Saturday 26th September 2015. To top it off, Richard O'Brien, played the Narrator for the run returning to the cast for the first time in the UK for more than 20 years.
This very limited run went on-sale Friday 31st July from 10am and of course the fans had priority booking. The show sold out several of it's nights and the first week sold out in less than 72 hours, prompting the run to be extended and extra week.
As if that wasn't enough there was a unique night when the stage show was broadcast live in cinemas across the UK and Europe in conjunction with Amnesty International on Thursday 17th September 2015.
The Gala Night sold out, with only around 300 tickets on general sale. If you had a ticket, in the words of Magenta.........."you're lucky............"
Adrian Edmondson, Anthony Head, Stephen Fry, Mel Giedroyc and Emma Bunton, all starred alongside Richard O'Brien as the Narrator on this very special one-off night. and the show was everything and more we were expecting it to be.
The theatre was also collecting for Amnesty International and selling some related merchandise at most performances and most people made sure they put a few quid in the collecting buckets or bought a "There's a Light" tee-shirt to help support this most worthy of causes.
The Amnesty "There's a Light" tee-shirts are still available to buy online click here to order one.

LIVE CINEMA BROADCAST
For those that missed out on the special Gala Night tickets there was the chance to pop down to your local cinema to watch the show broadcast live. Hundreds of cinemas screened the event and the live screening was the number one performing screening in UK cinemas grossing over £600,000 at the box office on the night. The show was broadcast across Europe, from Gibraltar to Moscow and the feedback from the event on facebook and twitter was incredible.
As well as the usual show being broadcast live there were several little additional segments slotted in before the screening and during the interval. Steph and I even ended up in Mel Giedroyc's box (and there were many onscreen jokes about that as well!) doing a small interview and running through the Time Warp for everyone in the cinemas. Totally unexpected, we thought we were doing a quick hello, but great fun for us to do.
There were so many rumours on the net that the audience would be muted out, or the screening wasn't going to be live at all, but like most rumours they weren't true. The only prerecorded footage used was some shots of some of the audience arriving (filmed on the Tuesday) and a pre-recorded message from Richard (who of course was on stage at the time). The audience participation was very respectful and very funny in the theatre. I can't say what it was like in the cinemas though!
We would love to see your photos from the night to put up here on these pages, whether you were at the show or at a cinema. We'd also love to hear your thoughts on the show and publish a few here. Please use the email address below in the Fans at the Show section to send in your comments or images. If you were there, let the world know what you thought and add to our archive of this rather special night.
